At just 15, Sulaiman became a father and had to leave school to support his family, juggling night shifts and delivery jobs. Feeling lost and unsure about his future, his life took a turn when Project Starfish stepped in—offering guidance, support, and free classes to help him catch up on his education. Today, motivated by the dream of giving his daughter a better life, Sulaiman is back in school and rebuilding his future.

When someone gives you a second chance, why not take it as an opportunity to do better? Throughout the year that I've been in Project Starfish, actually I've seen a lot of progress in myself, and I started to improve myself in many ways that I've never seen before. I feel I'm so blessed that I am able to take this chance and make it all worth it.

Project Starfish gave me a chance to complete my studies when I had no hope in myself. Thanks to Project Starfish I was able to enter my dream course in ITE and I am very grateful to the teachers who helped me achieve my goal. They showed me that everyone deserves a second chance when it comes to education.

Social workers, school welfare officers and parents are an important part of our eco-system. We work closely with them to ensure every youth is best supported.
