Starfish has provided a second chance for youths and their parents to course correct their life. Hopefully, people in similar situations feel inspired through the success stories that starfish produces on a yearly basis. The people that I have interacted with (through volunteering) have changed my perspective on certain things and have reminded me that life isn’t tough you just gotta be tougher!
My motivation now is to help Starfish move towards its desired destination. It’s at an inflection point from being a society to becoming a full fledged charity. I hope to be more involved in the committee planning as I want to also develop myself personally by leading such social impact focused organisation forward.
