My journey in Project Starfish had its ups and downs. I must say, that surely, it’s not the kind of school that anyone will expect compared to normal government schools. Classes are rather noisy at times when we all got really restless. But the teachers there never give up on us! A big thanks to Ms Siti for giving me the opportunity to be part of this Project Starfish and making me believe that it’s never the end, for not only me, but for every single student who is willing to help themselves as well. Thank you, Ms Siti, for never giving up on the rest and myself.

Mr Andy and Ms Levin are the ones who taught us mostly. Whenever the classes are noisy, they will try different ways to get our attention. Many teachers thought “ oh by punishing kids, giving them detention will get them to change.” Yes I agree. But not all of the students react the same. These 2 teachers understood each and every student’s character day by day, and do their best to help us.

I really felt so happy when I got my N level grades. It’s not like straight A’s. The thing is I never expect I would pass. But yes, I did! I am currently now a dental assistant and also studying Business and Law in Kaplan! Aiming to major in Business and Law at Murdoch University. I will be publishing my book in 5 years time. Working on it already. Project Starfish had definitely played a part in my life. Thank you so much for having so much faith! One day, I’ll be a successful woman.
