Volunteering at Project Starfish has been such an amazing experience. I made lots of memories and friends there! It has really helped me to step out of my comfort zone and further my personal development in many ways such as soft skills.
I am currently studying in ITE, so I would usually spend my Mondays during term breaks to help out at Starfish. Even though I am not a regular volunteer because of school commitments, Starfish has really shown me that I could make a difference and built my passion for volunteering. It is also a great time to reflect on myself as school can be quite busy and stressful.
In the long run, I hope that I can continue as a volunteer at Project Starfish as being there will really help me to learn and grow as a person.
